A desert landscape you can actually wrap yourself in. Our Southwest Desert Landscape Throw features ocotillo, yucca, piñon, mesas, and mountains in hunter green, coral, yellow, periwinkle, and tan. This isn't a repeating pattern—it's a full scene designed to read like a landscape painting when you hold it up.

We wanted to capture the desert we actually see living between New Mexico and Colorado—the one that's speckled with green, layered with texture, and full of color at different times of day. Not the beige, muted version. The ocotillo creates movement with those spindly arms. The yucca blooms add softness against spiky leaves. The piñon anchors everything and reminds you the desert isn't empty—it's alive.

Precision-knitted from 2-ply combed and recycled cotton by artisans in New York. This throw gets softer with every wash and is built to last. We treated the color like a print, layering it under the line work instead of keeping it strictly in the lines. It gives the whole design a painterly feel.

We're making this throw in a small batch of 14—first edition. We're treating our throws more like we treat our art prints: intentional editions rather than permanent inventory. It's how we work as artists. We'd rather keep designing and exploring new ideas.

What Makes This Throw Different:

  • Designed Like a Painting: Full desert landscape with ocotillo, yucca, and piñon—asymmetrical composition, not a repeating pattern
  • First Edition: Small batch of 14 pieces. We're treating this as an edition, which gives us the freedom to keep creating new designs
  • Pairs with the Roadrunner: This is the second in our Southwest Collection—designed alongside the Roadrunner throw with complementary colors that work together
  • Works in Real Spaces: Bold enough to make a statement, grounded enough for everyday use in modern, eclectic, or plant-filled homes
  • Made in NYC: Small-batch production with a zero-waste facility, using 2-ply combed and recycled cotton

Why We Made This

We're sister artists who happen to run a home goods company. This throw is part of our shift toward treating designs as editions instead of permanent inventory. It gives us the space to keep designing and exploring without being tied to maintaining stock on every design we've ever made.

If your home is layered with things that mean something to you—whether that's memories from travels, a love for plants and color, or just pieces you genuinely like looking at—this throw will fit right in. It works in modern spaces, eclectic spaces, plant-filled spaces. Drape it over a chair, fold it at the end of a bed, display it on a ladder. It's made to be used.

First edition of 14. Made in NYC.
